Selina Cardoza

President & Founder

My name is Selina Cardoza. For many years, my dream has been to operate a cat rescue. And here we are! CrucesCoolCats is up and running to help as many homeless cats as we can! I am an animal lover with 4 cats, 5 dogs, 5 large fish tanks, and 1 turtle of my own. I cannot remember a time without a animal in my life.

Joseph Lucero

Hello, my name is Joseph Lucero. I am a full-time college student, have a part-time job, and the caretaker of CCC home. I have a strong passion for cats. I am very excited to start this new chapter in my life.

Cesar

Board Member

Cesar Cardona was born from Mexican parents in California but moved to New Mexico at the start of his high school freshman year in 2016. Cesar loves animals and has had domesticated dogs, cats, parrots and even a hamster (R.I.P. Julius Cheesar). Cesar believes that the work done at Cruces Cool Cats is a blessing for the cats in the community. Cesar enjoys helping out whenever he can and is good friends with Joseph Lucero since High School. Cesar currently is studying physics in Boston University but is still in good communication with Cruces Cool Cats and the board of directors.
